Best software to learn Latin American Spanish?

I have been dating my boyfriend for 4 years. He is Dominican and most of his family only speaks Spanish, which leaves me just sitting there feeling awkward and uncomfortable. I really want to learn Spanish, but I can’t afford Rosetta Stone, which is supposed to be "the best". Are there any other programs for a better price that could get the job done?

  1. This is a great question, and it’s good that you are looking for alternatives to Rosetta Stone. There are tons of other products for less.

If you are willing to pay just $100-$200 less, get Fluenz Spanish. There is another program for $99 called Rocket Spanish. I’ve used all these just to note. It’s the most affordable and will get the job done for you. It’s very similar to Rosetta Stone, it has a few differences (I actually liked it more) it’s just more affordable.
